Statutory Framework for Award of Ph.D.
CMJ University has formulated rigorous doctoral degree guidelines framed in the light of the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations. Upon satisfactory completion of mandatory coursework and research methodology, research scholars undertake investigation and produce a dissertation draft under the supervision of recognized Research Supervisors.
The final thesis submitted to the University is evaluated by at least two external academic experts (one from outside the state). Upon receipt of satisfactory evaluation reports, the doctoral scholar openly defends the research in a public viva-voce examination before award of the degree.
Master's Degree in relevant subject (candidates holding M.Phil degrees preferred). Selection via All-India Entrance Test conducted in June & December.
2 to 5 Years. Synopsis clearance by the university Research Board followed by thesis submission and open public viva-voce defense.
